If I don’t tell you… Who will?

I am in full launch mode right now.

There are so many ideas floating around in my head at all times, and naturally, I want to try every single one of them.

But—I’ve officially hit my limit with decision fatigue, so this might be my last new idea for a while. 😅

Funny enough, I was looking back at a LinkedIn message I sent to a friend (and recruiter at EY) last week and realized… I had this idea FOUR years ago.

And then, life (and cancer) happened.

I only really got back into the game last fall.

So this feels a little full-circle. 🤗

For those of you who don’t know, I was a hiring manager at Meta. I built teams across multiple offices and worked cross-functionally on global initiatives.

Yes, I left corporate four years ago—but I’m still deep in it. I talk to recruiters all the time. Hiring managers even more.

And recently I had the thought: why am I not sharing this with you?

So—without further ado…

I’m launching a weekly LinkedIn Live series next week:

It’s going to be unfiltered, real conversations with recruiters and hiring managers.

Yes, it’s live.

Yes, anything can happen.

Yes, I will absolutely make offhand comments.

And there is a very real chance our guests might say something they weren’t supposed to.

Honestly? That’s part of the magic. ✨

All in 15- to 20-minute conversations.

Here are just a few of our guests:

  • Christie spent 3+ years at Pinterest and nearly a decade at Meta—and is now a licensed associate therapist. Want to talk about burnout in the midst of “having it all”? This one’s for you.

  • Lexi and I met at Meta (after her 5-year stint at Google). She now leads People Operations at Airtable and has a lot to say about culture.

  • Jorge was my recruiter at Meta (yes, that recruiter). After 5 years there, he went on to Lyft and Atlassian and now works with clinical leaders at Kaiser. He’s a wealth of knowledge—and my favorite recruiter if we’re keeping score.

We’ll also hear from my dear friend—and former colleague from Duarte, the world’s preeminent communications firm—on executive presence in your first days on the job and in the interview.

This email would go on forever if I listed everyone who’s excited to share their knowledge with you.

We already have nearly six months of guests lined up!

Because here’s the thing—there’s so much insight sitting behind closed doors in hiring conversations… and almost none of it makes its way to you!

That’s what this is about.

  • Pulling back the curtain.

  • Having the conversations people wish they could hear.

  • And giving you real access to how decisions actually get made.

If you’ve ever thought, “I just wish someone would tell me how this really works…”

Well, this is that.

PS—you’ll want to make it live each week, recordings will only be released to my Girl Talk community!

Speaking of launches, last week, I announced Girl Talk—my cohort-based group coaching experience for mid-career women.

It’s for those in that in-between space—not totally lost, but not totally clear either.

Just… holding a lot of questions in the midst of life’s inevitable transitions. And not always having a place to talk them through.

That’s really what this is for.

  • A space to think out loud.

  • To hear yourself more clearly.

  • To be in conversation with other women who are asking similar questions—even if their paths look different.

And while the LinkedIn Lives will be 20-minute conversations…

Girl Talk is where we go deeper.

Along with each Live recording, each guest you see on Live will also join us inside Girl Talk for extended, more intimate conversations.

If you’ve been craving that kind of space, know you’re not alone.

Beyond the Office

  • The Comeback is back! Admittedly, Lisa Kudrow’s Valerie Cherish isn’t for everyone—but this mockumentary has been following her for twenty years. Season one debuted in 2005, the second in 2014… and now we’re in the final stretch. Watch on Max.

  • When it’s dinnertime with my two beloved nieces (12 and 15), this pizza chicken has been a hit. One pan, a whole lotta protein. It’s pizza, on top of chicken. Kid-approved genius!

  • If the outside world has you feeling a little overwhelmed, I’ve got just the escape. Shady Hollow is a charming woodland world where creatures live together in harmony—and the kind of cozy mystery that’s perfect for a slow Sunday afternoon.

I’m really excited about this one.

It feels like a return in a lot of ways—but also something entirely new.

If you’ve been figuring things out, questioning what’s next, or just wanting more real insight into how all of this works… I think you’re going to love this new series.

I’ll see you live next week and virtually in your inbox on April 21.

Until then, travel in grace, knowing you are surrounded by love. 💛
