  Business Insider reports that America's white-collar workforce is shrinking. Companies like J.P. Morgan and Ford and Meta are all openly planning cuts, citing AI "efficiency gains."

  Ford's CEO said that AI could wipe away half of all white-collar jobs.

  This means fewer roles, fewer departments, and fewer opportunities to climb the ladder. Career growth may stall, and younger professionals may have a hard time even getting in the door.
