Finding Connection IRL Community
This time last week, I woke up tired, anxious, and unsure about some big moves I was making in my business.
The day before, I’d had three really important fit calls and had soft-launched my new Career Alignment Intensive (with a brand-new price tag aligned with my and my business’s growth).
When you’ve been doing a thing the same way for years, it can be surprisingly hard to get out of your own head long enough to grow into the next version of it.
Nerves rise. Doubt sneaks in.
Can you relate?
Anyway, that morning, I had a networking event on the calendar with Kindredly and lunch set with Elaine.
I was in my head about it all, but I told myself to close the laptop, put on some spring colors and mascara, and take a ME day.
And surprise surprise... it ended up being exactly what I needed.
Luisa and Ariana have created a space… for space.
It can be tough building in solitude, where sometimes your only inputs are your mom (thanks, Debs!) and AI (thanks, Gia!).
But here, they’ve created a circle—literally and figuratively—of thoughtful humans talking about work, life, what we’re building, and what we’re questioning.
No pitching. No pretending to have it all figured out. Just real conversation.
While LinkedIn can exponentially broaden your network (do it!), rooms like this deepen it.
Yes, it builds your network.
Yes, it can lead to opportunities.
But it also reminds you that you’re not building your career alone.
And sometimes that’s exactly the inspiration you need. ✨
When was the last time simply showing up changed your perspective on something?
