New Year, New Certification

New year, new initials, LinkedIn Fam! 🎓

There's a whole module in Own Your Search about continuous learning, and why it matters throughout your career (not just during the job search), and it was high time I put my money where my mouth is.

After four years out of the corporate world, it mattered to me that what I teach is current, practical, and aligned with today’s realities—including AI and how work is actually evolving.

As of last week, with all material covered, and final assignments submitted and approved, I’m officially a 👩🏽‍🏫 Certified Career Transition Coach (CCTC)!

💞 What I loved most? 💞

I was happy to see how much of what I learned validated the frameworks and coaching approach I already use. AND I’m adding new systems, new worksheets, and (for the first time!) structured homework before the first session to deepen momentum for my clients.

This whole process, like learning and refining tend to do in general, has got me excited for what's to come... And I'm excited to make an even bigger impact for the people who trust me with their careers.

Many thanks to my LinkedIn friend Meg for her recommendation on which certification body I should go with, and to Marie and Michelle at Career Thought Leaders Consortium for being stellar leader-coaches throughout the program.

Ready to get to work in 2026? Shoot me a DM and lessssss go. 💪🏽
