  Have you ever had one of those days where you have been busy all day long and yet you still feel stuck in your career? Like, you have been busy doing all of the things, but nothing seems to be actually moving forward? Yeah, be not surprised, there's a name for that, and it's called a "career freeze."

  A career freeze is when all of that excitement you once had about your job suddenly begins to fade and you kind of feel stuck in place because nothing seems to actually be progressing.

  You're still getting your work done, you might even been doing it really well, but it feels like you're running on low battery. You're busy, but not moving forward, and you're curious about what's next, but nothing feels quite right.

  This happens to a lot of people, especially in the middle of the year. July and August hit, energy for work kinda dips, vacations take over, and all of those goals that you made in January and the beginning of the year seem to fade off into the distance.

  So, if you have been feeling off or unmotivated or just disconnected from your work, it's not just you. But here's what I want you to consider: A freeze isn't necessarily a bad thing. It could just be a signal. Maybe you've outgrown something. Maybe your values have shifted. Or maybe you're just trying to make something fit that doesn't anymore.

  And instead of trying to force yourself to sprint out of it, this could be your moment to pause and reassess.

  You don't have to have it all figured out and mapped out right now. You just need to be aware of what's working and what's not, and take the next right step towards something that feels more aligned to you where you are right now.

  Because feeling stuck doesn't necessarily mean you're off track. It just might mean that you're ready for something new.
